Cancun Sucks (or "why I'll never go back to Cancun")

Cancun is one of the those places that disappointed me horribly.  Everything there was horrendously expensive, the "hotel zone" is one of the most crassly commercial places I have ever seen, and I just didn't get the feeling of local friendliness like I do on Cozumel.  To boot, it's one of the prime Spring Break destinations, which means that I want to avoid it in March specifically, and all the time in general.

I don't plan to return to Cancun any time soon.
